Biosketch
Dr. Lorie earned his B.S. degree with honors in Electrical Engineering (with Computer Science emphasis) from Hofstra University in 1990. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1993 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Lorie joined the faculty of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at George Mason University in 2009, where he is a term assistant professor.
Dr. Lorie is a member of IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu, and Tau Beta Pi.
Dr. Lorie is a life-long student. His next goal is to earn his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science with an emphasis in Bioinformatics.
